Baron

AM. & CAN. B.I.S.S. CH. BARON OF SHOREWATERS BUSSY
BARON was one of our first born to our beloved Shorewaters Bussy, Baron is one of our foundations stud dog. To give you a little history of how we got into the spotlight, Baron was the first Chesapeake to win the prestigious Pedigree Kal Kan Award in 1988. This award led the Chesabar's "Kids" to a National Television Commercial promoting Pedigree Dog Food. Baron will be remembered as being one of the all time winningest Chesapeakes in the history of the breed, with 99 Group Placements in the United States and ten plus in Canada. Ashby

CH. ASHBY OF SHOREWATERS BUSSY, CD, WD, JH.
ASHBY was Baron's litter mate brother. Ashby loved to hunt. He promoted our breeding program and the Chesabar name by being one of the top gun dogs at Twin Ponds Duck Club (click for photo of Ashby hunting at the club), which was located in Centreville, MD for approximately six years. Ashby loved to hunt, loved being the top dog in the boat. Ashby loved being a puppy up until he left us at 14 years of age. We are proud of all his children and grandchildren. Bomber

Bomber was medium brown. He was my follow-up dog after Baron and a loving and devoted companion. Bomber was the #1 Chesapeake Bay Retriever, and Pedigree Award winner for three consecutive years. He loved to show and always struck the perfect pose in the ring.

Cruiser

AM. & CAN. B.I.S.S. CH. CHESABAR'S DOWNEAST CRUISER,CGC
Ashby's son, and a go getter, that loves people, children and loves his friends, and most of all loves the show ring. Cruiser is our long time awaited National Specialty Best of Breed Winner, the number one Chesapeake for 1998 and 1999 and the Best of Breed Winner at the Prestigious Westminster Dog Show. He loves to be called "Cruduz," he comes running with his tail wagging as fast as he can wag it. Outstanding temperament - couldn't ask for a more loveable Chesapeake. Loves stuffed animals, especially stuffed turtles and snails.
