"CRICKET"

Cricket is that special combination of extraordinary breed type and electrifying show dog. It is these components that have propelled her to the top of the chart in the Chesapeake Bay Retriever Ring. Cricket at fourteen months of age received a Judges Award of Merit at the ACC National Specialty, from Judge Paula Nykiel, being selectively shown her next debut was at nineteen months of age at the prestigious dog show Westminster Kennel Club where she received another Judges Award of Merit, from Judge J. D. Jones. Being shown in the year 2000 at selected shows she won multiple ACC Supported Show, Best of Opposite at the ACC National Specialty, from Judge Dr. Donald Sturz.
Her first Best In Show was the ultimate for ending the year 2000. Winning Best In Show at the Kennel Club of Philadelphia is more that words could express. The Philadelphia Kennel Club is one of the most prestigious dog shows in the country, plus being the oldest dog show in the country is even more of an honor, we at Chesabar & Silvercreek would like to thank Judge Charles Herendeen for awarding her the group I at Philadelphia to give her the chance to compete for Best in Show. We graciously thank Judge Ron Menaker for this prestigious win, and for being a part of Cricket's history book. We would also, like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all the judges who recognized this lovely young chesapeake bitch in the show ring, her history book is glowing from all her achievements. Breeders and all-rounders agree that Cricket has it all. We anticipate, with joy and enthusiasm, Cricket's continued success. Watch for the winning team of Cricket, "Mom," Patsy and John McCartney, handler.
