David Frei (the Westminster TV announcer) needed some showdogs
that also had their CGC (Canine Good Citizen) title for
the local Long Island show, "The Family Pet" hosted
by veterinarian Dr. Jonathan Greenfield.
He selected six dogs to be on the show, one of which was
Jim Friedl's Kodi (Ch. Chesabar Sandra Kodiak, CDX, TD,
WD, TDI, CGC). What made this more special was that Kodi
is now 11-1/2 years old. Not just a Champion showdog with
a CGC, Kodi also has her second-level Obedience title (CDX),
her Tracking title (TD), her Working Dog title (WD), as
well as being a therapy dog.
She and her "mom" Terri had a great time being
on the show, and made some new friends in TV-land.
