Widgeon has been getting raves ever since she debuted at six
months of age. Starting with the Maryland Sporting Dog Assoc.,
from the 6-9 month puppy bitch class, she went Best in Sweepstakes,
Winners Bitch and Best of Winners, and Best in Show Puppy two days
in row.

Widgeon continued to catch the eye of judges and finished 2005
and 2006 as the #1 Chesapeake Bay Retriever in the country.
